The year 2022 is synonymous with achievements for Lixo as it joins the 2022 promotion of the French Tech Green 20.
In short, this initiative aims to bring out the new technological champions of the ecological transition.
The French Tech Green 20 program is dedicated to startups that develop innovative solutions to meet the social and environmental challenges of our century. This project highlights various subjects such as the ecological transition, which are major challenges for these market-leading companies in the years to come.
Led by La Mission French Tech, in partnership with the French Ministry of Ecological Transition, the program will allow them to benefit from:
- Support from government services (network of French Tech correspondents);
- Integration into economic diplomacy;
- Various awareness actions;
- Specific support on GreenTech issues (in association with the Ministry of Ecological Transition).
We are a winner alongside several startups such as Keey Aerogel, a solution that offers nanomaterials, insulating three times more efficiently than traditional alternatives or Beyond Aero. The latter has built the first electric business jet using hydrogen propulsion to reach more than 1500 km/h. Believe it or not, a demonstration took place this summer, enough to make the kerosene jets of several celebrities pale in comparison.
Next to us are 3 other startups that also operate in the waste sector:
- Waga, which recovers biogas from landfills in the form of biomethane (a renewable substitute for natural gas).
- Tryon, which boosts the micro-methanization of waste.
- Neolithe, which transforms non-recyclable waste into stone.
This integration into the French Green 20 program offers Lixo a significant resource platform and a real opportunity to expand. Thanks to this platform, we can benefit from a real springboard for the large-scale deployment of our solutions. It is also through this type of program that we gain French and European recognition for our ability to impact and transform the waste industry.
